I come here to dine in or get to go food at least once a week, sometimes 2-3 times a week. I ALWAYS get country style steak, fried okra, and collards. Having worked in a restaurant myself for 14 years, I absolutely do NOT understand why you do not offer fried okra everyday. It is not made from scratch, its from a freezer. It seems like if frequent customers want an item that you can easily make, you would make it, or adjust your menu to include such an easy item to make your customers happy. The staff have told me that I am not the only person who orders this EXACT same meal very frequently...and that the other gentleman doesn't like it when your out of okra either. Just a thought...providing frozen fried okra is an EASY way to keep customers happy and coming back...NOT by offering them a substitute good (fried squash).
Took to long to get our food was a little cold and just didn't taste very good... Definitely don't think I'll come back.
Good food, good service. Great place to grab a bite to eat, not too expensive. Only reason I didn't give it five stars, is that it's not a place to get a $90 prime rib, but highly recommend it for everything else.
Very expansive menu. Service and food were good. Prices reasonable. Would eat here again.
Great night for their chicken and dumplings, with a nice fresh salad, pinto beans, and cornbread. I'm almost ashamed to say I had cheesecake too. ( even though I split it with my wife ) nice meal and very helpful staff.
