Smoke Pit was great to work with for our wedding! Alan was very responsive and helpful with all the questions that we had. He was always prompt when getting back to all of our questions especially related to any changes due to COVID. The tasting provided to us was fantastic and allowed us to ask any questions we had. They were on time to the venue and everyone enjoyed the food! The jerk turkey was a huge hit as well as the sweet potato casserole! The portions are generous and no one went hungry even myself and my groom! Definitely recommend!
My absolute favorite spot for the best smoked wings and burnt ends. Their sides are delicious as well. We always order extra for next day. Great amount of food and really reasonably priced. Also, the attached butcher shop is wonderful. They run great specials on good quality meat!
All of these points are stated as my opinion. This is standard barbecue. It’s a home-cooked meal. The greens were as great as the can I believe they came out, Glory‘s seasoned greens. The cornbread was nice. My brisket was a little dry but I got the “fatty” version which helped to add some flavor. I won’t go out of my way to eat here but I’d stop by if I was in the area.
From beginning to end, this was the best experience I’ve ever had catering an event! The staff maintained complete communication and professionalism throughout the entire process. They came prepared and on time to serve our golfers at our tournament yesterday! I will never use anyone again. Joey Graham, the owner, was exceptionally kind and gracious to our ministry!
I don't know where burnt ends have been all my life but I'm new to the south, and they are amazing here! Generous portions, all of the sides are delicious. Again being new to NC we are finding the best restaurants are not the ones that try to be high-end, but the down-home Waffle House, Bojangles, Smoke Pits in the area.
